The airport is perfectly integrated into the Tuscan motorway network, and has direct access to the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno dual carriageway (Pisa Centro - Aeroporto exit), the Genova-Rosignano A12 motorway (Pisa Centro exit), the Firenze-Pisa Nord A11 motorway (through the Pisa Nord link with the A12), and to road SS 1 “Aurelia”. Just a 10 minute drive from Pisa city centre, it’s also the perfect starting point for those looking to explore the region by car. The harbour town of Livorno, with ferries to Elba, Sardinia and Corsica is incredibly close at hand (20 minutes), while Florence (45 minutes), Lucca (30 minutes), and Viareggio (30 minutes) are all well within easy driving distance.
